All men and women will be looking forward enthusiastically to witness the masterclass sports event.
The beauty of a move lies not in its’ appearance, but in the thought behind it.
On the occasion of Tamil New Year or Pongal the entire youth of the Parish along with the Convener and Kabbadi team plans for the successful event which bears the name “Ulaasaparavaigal”. With the prior permission from the Parish Priest, they gather in the church campus and organizes a meeting which includes an agenda the date and time of the competition, venue, participation of different teams, referees for the event, prizes, and so on.
It’s not the will to win that matters; everyone has that.
It’s the will to prepare to win that matters.
The will to win is important, but the will to prepare is vital.
As the rehearsal of the event, they make the place smooth, and even with the assistance of the team of players along with the small boys the cleaning work begins before a week. Not only making the venue ready but making a comfortable place for the umpires and audience to witness the event remarkably.

They desire to make their village flag hoisted with its name and get a reputation through their achievement. Finally, the result will be announced and trophy and cash prizes will be given both for winners and runners as well. The game will be winded up around 11 pm to 12 pm.
A beautiful balance between holding on and letting go is, what required in a game of Kabaddi!

Aim for the sky and you’ll reach the ceiling. Aim for the ceiling and you’ll stay on the floor
Hence A winner never stops trying. The team, whether they win or get, defeated goes home happy to face the next event with mere practice and fixed goal. Winners never quit and quitters never win. So it is never heard that the runners were unhappy when they go home from our church premises.
