Charity to the Poor

Charity to the Poor

Faith alone cannot lead one to heaven(Jam. 2,24). There was always a debate whether faith alone could save someone. It has been ascertained that faith with charity would reach someone to reach the abode of the father in heaven. It's with such an understanding Jesus himself was performing enough and more charity for the poor and the underprivileged. It is our turn now to follow the footsteps of Jesus perform acts of charity to those who are in need. Indeed we do extend our help in two ways,

1. Rendering helps in all the forms possible, directly from the parish from the donations received from the people in the form of a dumb box collection and subscription, viz., educational help, food materials, clothing, monetary, medical help, building, and repair works of houses, supplying the electrical bulbs, etc.

2. Receiving helps from the agencies from India and abroad, Diocesan management, Dharmapuri social Service society, other trusts, and societies we help the poor who do seek help in our parish we maintain two accounts viz., a) Maintenance account and b) Education and Health care. The help received from the people under various titles is given to the people cheerfully. The donor's intention is very much appreciated and fulfilled. Every penny is very much worth in the eyes of God as he considered the two copper coins of the poor widow. We are committed to providing help with love and respect.
